20th Anniversary


Performance Chevrolet passed a unique milestone this past November - we celebrated our 20th Anniversary as Performance Chevrolet.  The dealership was first opened in 1968 as Bob Frink Chevrolet.  You may recall some of the advertising "Right on the corner, right on the price."  Located at the corner of Madison Avenue and Wall Street the Chevrolet sign is a proud landmark on Madison Avenue.  Interestingly, we have many employees who span well over 20 years here at Performance Chevrolet. 

The dealership was purchased from the Frink organization by John McMichael who started here as a salesman.  Truly an American success story. 

Over the years Performance has been actively involved with dozens of community events and charities.  "Giving back is an important part of our commitment to Sacramento and the surrounding area," says McMichael.  The continuing success of the dealership is the commitment to our customers.  Providing excellent service and a fun environment exemplifies the Performance Chevrolet way of doing business.
